>A Store owner was tacking a sign above his door that
>read "Puppies for Sale". The signs have a way of
>attracting children. Soon a little boy appeared at
>the sign and asked, "How much are you gonna sell those
>puppies for?".
>The store owner replied, "Anywhere from $30-$50."
>The little boy reached into his pocket and pulled
>out some change. "I have $2.37, can I look at them?"
>The store owner smiled and whistled. Out of the
>kennel came his dog named Lady, running down the aisle
>of his store followed by five little puppies. One
>puppy was lagging considerably behind. Immediately
>the little boy singled out the lagging, limping puppy.
>He asked "What's wrong with that little dog?"
>The man explained that when the puppy was born the vet
>said that this puppy had a bad hip socket and would
>limp for the rest of his life.
>The little boy got really excited and said "That's the
>puppy I want to buy!"
>The man replied "No, you don't want to buy that little
>dog. If you really want him, I'll give him to you."
>The little boy got upset. He looked straight into the
>man's eyes and said "I don't want you to give him to
>me. He is worth every bit as much as the other dogs
>and I'll pay the full price. In fact I will give you
>$2.37 now and 50 cents every month until I have him
>paid for."
> The man countered, "You really don't want to buy this
>puppy son. He is never gonna be able to run, jump and
>play like other puppies."
>The little boy reached down and rolled up his pant leg
>to reveal a badly twisted, crippled left leg supported
>by a big metal brace.
>He looked up at the man and said, "Well, I don't run
>so well myself and the little puppy will need someone who
>understands. And I can keep up with him too."
>The man was now biting his bottom lip. Tears welled up
>in his eyes...
>He smiled and said, "Son, I hope and pray that each
>and every one of these puppies will have an owner such
>as you."

This Will Make You Cry...

Jenny was so happy about the house they had found.

For once in her life it was on the right side of town.

She unpacked her things with such great ease.

As she watched her new curtains blow in the breeze.

How wonderful it was to have her own room.

School would be starting; she'd have friends over soon.

There'd be sleep-overs, and parties; she was so happy

It's just the way she wanted her life to be.

On the first day of school, everything went great.

She made new friends and even got a date!

She thought, "I want to be popular and I'm going to be,

Because I just got a date with the star of the team!"

To be known in this school you had to have a clout,

And dating this guy would sure help her out.

There was only one problem stopping her fate.

Her parents had said she was too young to date.

"Well, I just won't tell them the entire truth.

They won't know the difference; what's there to lose?"

Jenny asked to stay with her friends that night.

Her parents frowned but said, "All right."

Excited, she got ready for the big event

But as she rushed around like she had no sense,

She began to feel guilty about all the lies,

But what's a pizza, a party, and a moonlight ride?

Well the pizza was good, and the party was great,

But the moonlight ride would have to wait.

For Jeff was half drunk by this time.

She felt someone remove her from the twisted rubble,

And heard, call an ambulance!

These kids are in trouble!

Voices she heard...a few words at best.

But she knew there were two cars

involved in the wreck.

Then wondered to herself if Jeff was all right,

And if the people in the other car was alive.

She awoke in the hospital to faces so sad.

"You've been in a wreck and it looks pretty bad."

These voices echoed inside her head,

As they gently told her that Jeff was dead.

They said "Jenny, we've done all we can do.

But it looks as if we'll lose you too."

"But the people in the other car!? "Jenny cried.

"We're sorry, Jenny, they also died."

Jenny prayed, "God, forgive me for what I've done

I only wanted to have just one night of fun."

"Tell those people's family, I've made their lives dim,

And wish I could return their families to them."

"Tell Mom and Dad I'm sorry I lied,

And that it's my fault so many have died.

Oh, nurse, won't you please tell them that for me?"

The nurse just stood there-she never agreed.

But took Jenny's hand with tears in her eyes.

And a few moments later Jenny died.

A man asked the nurse,

"Why didn't you do your best?"

To bid that girl her one last request?"

She looked at the man with eyes so sad.

"Because the people in the other car

were her mom and dad."

This story is sad and unpleasant but true,

So young people take heed, it could have been you.

Because of you,
I believe in me.
You have brought,
A light into my life.

Because of you,
My heart no longer aches.
You taught me how to love,
And to be loved.

Because of you,
I am no longer scared.
I feel brand new each day,
As I go through each hour.

Because of you,
I have no doubts.
Your love guides me,
In all I go through.

Because of you,
My soul is at peace.
I found in you,
What has been missing.

Because of you,
I am in love.
In love with a man,
That believes in me.

Can anyone open this?

There's cheese inside this wrapper
But I can't get it out,
I've got the crackers ready
And I'll enjoy them, I've no doubt
I've tried to snip the corner
But not an inch will give,
I've struggled now for half an hour
And I've lost the will to live.

There's milk inside this carton
But I can't get it out,
My cereal is waiting
But I just can't form the spout.
I've tried a pair of scissors
Totally in vain,
And now I've dropped it in the sink
And it's all gone down the drain.

There's bacon in this packet
But I can't get it out,
I fancied the 'Full English'
Even though I'll end up stout.
I tried to use the carving knife,
Well, it's always worked before,
But suddenly it slipped, and now
I'm bleeding on the floor.

There are pills in this container
But I can't get them out,
I take them 'cos they keep me calm
And curb my urge to shout.
These tops, I'm told, are 'childproof'
But no matter what the size
The only ones who can open them
Are children under five.

There's wine inside this bottle
But I can't get it out,
I'm feeling rather desperate now -
My tongue is hanging out.
I've tried to use the corkscrew
And now that's stuck as well,
I'll have to try another one,
Damn it all to hell!

There's a man in a laboratory
But I can't get him out,
He developed all this packaging
To keep bacteria out.
But what he failed to notice
(Which wasn't his intention),
is that nobody has found a way
To open his invention.

Burning embers

Walking through the deepest dark cold lonely night
then through the tunnel of despair
When reaching the end
came a new world of light
as the moon with a love
so sincere and true
Shines upon me
penetrates through my heart
as strong as any love can be......

TOUCH MY HEART~
Touch my heart and I'll touch yours
With a gentle word or two,
For kindness bears the sweetest fruit
That makes our dreams come true.

Touch my life with tenderness
And fill my cup with love.
Share my dreams as I share yours
Beyond the stars above.

Take my hand as I grow old
And lead me when I'm blind.
Show me that you really care
Good Friends are hard to find.

Touch my heart and I'll touch yours
A little more each day
And then we will both find happiness
Somewhere along the way.

"I wish for you..."
Comfort on difficult days,
Smiles when sadness intrudes,
Rainbows to follow the clouds,
Laughter to kiss your lips,
Sunsets to warm your heart
Gentle hugs when spirits sag,
Friendships to brighten your being,
Beauty for your eyes to see,
Confidence for when you doubt,
Faith so that you can believe,
Courage to know yourself,
Patience to accept the truth,
And love to complete your life.
God Bless you!
I asked the Lord to bless you
As I prayed for you today
To guide you and protect you
As you go along your way....
His love is always with you
His promises are true
No matter what the tribulation
You know He will see us through
So when the road you're traveling on
Seems difficult at best
Give your problems to the Lord
And God will do the rest.
Pass this to people you want God to
bless, and don't forget to send it
back to the one who asked God to bless
you first.

Your Friend,

It took a lifetime,
For him to find her.
A heart to keep safe.
A love that will never die.

It took a lifetime,
For her to find him.
A heart to keep safe.
A love that will never die.

Their souls became one.
Their hearts beat as one.
Each seeking a love,
That time will never erase.

She is the light of his life.
He is the rock she leans on.
Together they beat the odds,
As their love grows more each day.

In a lifetime you will find,
One certain person to love.
You hold their heart in your hands,
To keep it safe as your love grows.

It took a lifetime,
For us to find love.
Our souls will forever,
Be united as one.

Our hearts entwined together,
Untill the end of time.
Our love undying,
Two joined as one.

Eternal Love
What is an eternal love, you say to me
Tis but a love which exceeds eternity
Not for a day,a year or two,but til the end of time
And more,shall I love you

How can one profess such love
You say unto me
Tis but from the heart,I may inform ye
Tis this deep, deep feeling,I so harbor for thee

So question what you will,in thine mind
Be assured,I shall love you til the end of time
Tis but this seed of love, you have planted in me
I shall wact over an' nurture with love, til eternity
